“Adult Trainee” tells the story of hormonal teenagers as their bodies mature. There’s Jae Min, who becomes addicted to masturbation, conservative Yu Ra, who starts a raunchy date with her friend, and obese Na Eun, who has never had a boyfriend before. The drama aims to express the raw and truthful concerns and love stories of 18-year-olds in a way that Generation Z can relate to.
Adult Trainee Drama Review
Honestly, the second couple is the one that gave it a 7/10, they carried the show and I would recommend watching just their episode if you don’t feel like watching the whole drama (3-5).
1) The first couple was cute but I found them a bit boring and the masturbation addiction really threw me off as I didn’t expect it to be the focus of the first 2 episodes. I liked that they openly mentioned how sex/masturbation compares to some dramas they hide in, especially high school ones.
I kept looking because I didn’t know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised by the second couple.
2) This couple needs to have their own drama, the actors’ chemistry and looks really kept me hooked on their episodes. Its plot is good, the fake dating theme was very well done and the ending of the story really ended well. Their kisses were so much better than other couples in dramaland, it wasn’t awkward or awkward like you’d expect from high school dramas. As I already said, if you don’t want to watch the full drama, episodes 3-5 are enough and you won’t regret it. If I ever watch the drama again, I’ll probably come back with this couple like I already did twice.
3) I was a bit disappointed with the third couple, I really didn’t like how the plot revolved around the weight of the girl (especially the fact that in my opinion she is not fat but healthier). Also, I wasn’t able to enjoy the third couple to the fullest, as the second couple really set the bar very high and therefore it was hard for them to keep me so hooked. The ending also left me a bit unsatisfied, but overall this drama is a good watch.
